Threshing sledge, also known as a threshing board, is an agricultural tool historically used for threshing grain, such as wheat or barley. It typically consists of a large, flat wooden board with a curved or angled front end. Along the underside of the board, pieces of flint or metal are embedded to create a rough surface.

To use a threshing sledge, it is dragged over harvested grain spread out on a hard surface, such as a threshing floor. The rough underside of the sledge helps to crush and separate the edible grain from the inedible chaff. This process is often performed by dragging the sledge in a circular motion behind a draft animal, such as a horse or mule. Threshing sledges were commonly used in traditional farming practices before mechanised equipment became widespread.
